2017 – 2018 School Year!

ALL students and parents – be sure to login into Charms and update your information. Directors use this for inventory, finance, and communication. Check our Private Teacher list for lessons and local workshops. Don’t forget to look over the AISD Orchestra Handbook for district Orchestra policies. Please consider joining the Allen Orchestra Booster Club! Memberships help support our AISD Orchestra students through our Boosters.

6th grade students and parents – make sure your instrument is rented from a local string shop and check the list of supplies needed for class. Most instrument companies will deliver your instrument to your school.  Please complete and return 6th grade orchestra forms to your director. Please consider paying online for the 6th grade t-shirt/fee in the Store section (this helps the directors.) Check your Charms account and update your contact information.

Middle School students and parents – make sure your instrument is in good shape by taking it to an instrument shop to have it assessed (bow hair, strings, etc…) Be sure to fill out and return your AISD Fine Arts Medical Release Form and return to your director. Check the Middle School section for your MS Orchestra Handbook, which includes school specific information and forms. Please complete and return MS orchestra fee/t-shirt form to your director. Cello/Bass students using a school instrument in class – contracts will be available when school starts, and are now available in your Charms account for payment of $125.00 Please consider paying online for items in the Store section (this helps the directors.) Check your Charms account and update your contact information.

AHS/LFC Students and Parents – make sure your instrument is in good shape by taking it to an instrument shop to have it assessed (bow hair, strings, etc…)  Be sure to fill out and return your AISD Fine Arts Medical Release Form and return to your director. Check the AHS/LFC School section for your HS Orchestra Handbook, which includes school specific information. Uniforms will be issued for AHS and LFC students at Registration, August 19 between 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  and are free of charge. Please complete and return HS orchestra fee/t-shirt form to your director. Cello/Bass students using a school instrument in class – contracts will be available when school starts, and are now available in your Charms account for payment of $125.00 Please consider paying online for items in the Store section (this helps the directors.) Check your Charms account and update your contact information.
